Nice to meet you!
If you've landed here, it's because we share some beautiful things in common.
You love God and your heart beats with the purpose to know Him and make Him known among the nations. Ours, too.
You have a passion for the Gospel and want to see it shine brightly in every corner of the world.
Us too! It has changed our lives and we want to carry the love of Jesus to the lost and bring them the Gospel so that it can change theirs, too.
You have a passion for discipleship and view it as absolutely essential.
We do, too. Once the lost are found, it is time to continue to grow in relationship with them and share the truths of the Word so that they can have a deeper relationship with God.
You have a passion for the harvest. Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. We share your passion.
So we are rolling up our sleeves and getting to work, and we're inviting to join us on this adventure.
We believe that we are all called to fulfill the Great Commission.
Some go in body while other "go" by sending them.
Working together as part of the same harvest team,
we change the nations one heart at a time
by bringing the Gospel to the lost
and discipling the found with the Word.
Who we are
We are Duane and Lisa and, along with our children, are full time missionaries to the nation of Ukraine.
We had each known even as young children that we would someday be missionaries. We met in 1997 at Zion Bible Institute and God began knitting our hearts together with love for Him, love for each other, and a passion for discipleship and the nations.
In 2001 we were married and began our adventure as a family.
We visited Ukraine for the first time in 2012 when we were adopting for the first time. After spending nearly two months in country, we knew it would one day be our home.
God had stirred our hearts for Ukraine and they were forever marked with an intense love for this nation and its people.
As our family grew, so did our passion for missions. Praying for the nations, the lost, and missionaries became a nightly family endeavor. Reading missionary biographies became a hobby. And soon our children began to feel calls to overseas ministry that were uniquely theirs.
We began to pray as a family for God to prepare us. We told Him we were willing and waited for Him to point us in the direction we were to go.
